DeoxIT® Marine Greases

Marine greases are effective at lubricating and protecting mechanical devices and equipment. However, they often fail to address a widespread issue affecting all metals: the presence of surface oxidation and corrosion. In contrast, our DeoxIT® Greases excel at lubricating and shielding metal surfaces while incorporating special additives that remove and displace most surface oxidation and corrosion. These greases are produced in a semi-solid form, allowing them to serve as a multi-functional solution for cleaning, deoxidizing, protecting, and lubricating. They also protect against oxidation (galvanic corrosion) and are free from harmful components such as mineral acids, sulfurs, alkalis, and other substances that could damage metals.

The addition of DeoxIT® Dx100L to the formulation creates a supplementary film on the metal surface, effectively removing and displacing corrosion while forming a flexible, movable protective layer. This feature is crucial in scenarios where the grease might be disturbed or separated from the metal surface. Upon application, the infused DeoxIT® Dx100L adheres to the metal, thoroughly coating and sealing it. Even if the grease is displaced due to vibration or mechanical movement, the metal remains sealed and protected. No other grease offers this unique capability!
